Our dedication to quality hearing care is led by Dr. Vijay Marimuthu, a highly experienced and compassionate audiologist serving the Burpengary and Moreton Bay communities. As Director and Principal Audiologist of Moreton Hearing, Dr. Marimuthu combines extensive expertise with a patient-centred approach to provide exceptional care for adults and children alike.

Dr. Marimuthu earned his BSc and MSc in Speech and Hearing from India and was awarded the prestigious Hearing CRC scholarship to pursue his Ph.D. in Cochlear Implants at Macquarie University, Sydney. His primary interest lies in diagnostic and rehabilitation audiology, which drives his commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based care.

With a diverse background in teaching, research, and clinical audiology, Dr. Marimuthu has made significant contributions to the field. He currently serves as a Director of the Australian College of Audiology (ACAud) and is the Academic Chair of ACAud, playing a key role in shaping the future of audiology in Australia.

Beyond his professional commitments, Dr. Marimuthu enjoys hiking with his wife and daughter in the scenic hinterlands of the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada, making him accessible to a wide range of clients.
